Yes We Did!

What an election!

i'm just trying to waste some time right now before i have to go and pick up Dan from work. I had off tonight, and he had been bugging me all day long for me to switch with him and pick up his shift tonight, so that he didn't have to go in. well, he made a tough argument.. he said he'd do laundry, dishes, scrub the bathroom, box back up the halloween decorations, sweep and mop and vacuum (i just realized what a strange word that is), windex, take out the garbage and take the recycling to the dump, and clean the car out. yeah- RIGHT. like he was gonna do all that. so now, i've been cleaning ever since i dropped him off for work at 4. which works really well for me- since i dont have to reclean what he attempted at. he doesnt even know where most things go in the house! the only thing i missed out on was a back rub every night before i go to bed, and another one when i wake up in the morning... for a week! oh well. maybe i can talk him into it a night or two anyways. there is still some more cleaning i'll have to do. i'm saving it for sunday when he's watching the football games all day long..

i'm getting more and more excited for our Honeymoon! i dont know if we've said much about it, but it will be a 10 day cruise from Miami, to Labadee-Haiti, to Cartagena-Colombia, to the Panama Canal and also Cristobal-Panama, then to Puerto Limon-Costa Rica, to George Town-Grand Cayman, and back to Miami. We'll also be staying a night in Miami both before and after we're on the cruise. So it will be a 12 Day break from winter! whoo!!! since we've been really craving some real Skyline Chili, we opted for a longer layover in Cincinnati over a shorter one in Atlanta. I mean, 30 minute layovers in Atlanta both there and back... as opposed to 3 hours and 30 minute layovers in Cincinnati both there and back. Goldstar will be good enough! when Christmas shopping starts- everyone is welcome to send us some cans of chili from their website or one of your local Skyline carrying grocery stores! =) yum. or other christmas lists can be found on our wedding registries at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, or Macys! haha. oh i can't wait for our trip!!!!!!

i just realized i havent eaten anything all day except half a left over Major Goolsby's bacon cheeseburger. and after talking about chili, i am very aware of how hungry i am!
