I love Decorating!!!

I know most people don't put up Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving, but i just couldnt wait. Dan told me it was a silly idea to decorate already, and my sister Marcie told me it was bad luck, but whatevs. She still has up her Halloween decorations, so who's who on schedule? what i love most is that each year, i get to put on new ornaments that werent on the tree last year, so it is always a new experience! i'm excited too, because we get to buy "First Married Christmas Together" ornaments for this year. We just recieved a package in the mail today from Amy that had an ornament in it (and key limes.. LOVE key limes!) and we'll also be able to put up the ornaments we got from Marcie last Christmas. (which we didn't get until June.. yeah, there's the schedule thing again! haha) One is a gingerbread man and woman couple, with our names on it, and another one that has a santa hat with "# 1 Aunt" hanging from it, and then my name (take that Shea!) and we also have one which i bought a couple days after Dan proposed to me on Bradenton Beach from one of their gift shops, it is a sand dollar with Bradenton Beach written on it. i decided not to actually decorate the tree until after Thanksgiving.. and seeing as to how i did all the decorating when Dan was at work, i had to save something for us to do together!

i find myself pretty lame when i have nights off from work and Dan doesn't. But i am big enough to admit to it. i watch Paris Hiltons My New BFF every week. And i find it extremely amusing. i do. i really do enjoy it. i love it!

I'm a few days past- but i've gotta give my blog birthday shoutout from last Saturday to our old roomie and best man, Brian. we went to the Old German Beer Hall, and it was very hard for me not to outdrink all the boys, but i had to drive afterwards, so i held a little discipline. we decided to try out these german shots of Killepitsch, and the bartender had told Brian and I (Dan was in the bathroom at the time) that the way to take the shot is to shake it really hard, slam it on the bar a couple times, unscrew the red cap, put it on the tip of our nose, and take the shot. it took me a minute, but then i asked him if that was just a prank he pulled on people at the bar to see how drunk and gullible they were. when he admitted to it, i told Brian we should pull the prank on Dan and see what happens. So Dan gets back, we go to a table, and we tell him what the bartender told us to do with the shots. He gets really excited. "Wow, Really? So what do we do? Alright! Awesome! Lets Do it!" I'm bad at keeping a straight face, but i'm laughing solely because Dan thinks it is the coolest thing in the world. We go to do the shot, i dont shake it, i dont slam it, and when i unscrew the tiny red cap, i look, and Brian is struggling trying to figure out how to balance the cap on his nose. both him and Dan set it on the tips of their noses, then watch them fall off when they tipped back their heads, picked them up off the table or the bench or the floor.. proceeded to try again, failed again. all this, and i thought Brian knew not to actually put the cap on his nose. Guess drunk people really are THAT gullible. but i hope you had a Happy Birthday anyways! Cheers to you!

And we also missed a birthday blog for Amy J whose Sunday birthday brought a HUGE win by the Packers over the Bears. Bears Still Suck. Must have also been an odd birthday, seeing as to how it must be hard to celebrate a birthday and a Packer win next to Bears fan Jonny. Hope you had a happy birthday anyways! We miss you and can't wait to see you next!
