Chef Katie

Yesterday, while working at Shakers... Bob-A-Loo invited me to help prepare dinner for a couple people at the bar. I got an apron, pulled back my sleeves, tied up my hair, washed my hands, and grabbed one of our fresh Maryland Soft Shelled Blue Brabs from the box, then.... ...eew.. pulled back the shell...
... and pulled out the lungs... eew. (i also had to pull out its' eyes.. but i couldnt- so Bob did it for me.) but aparantly- you just fry 'em up and eat these things. shell.. legs.. and all. best part about it.. they were ALIVE! eew! dormant.. so they weren't running around.. but he was moving. that was gross. i'm on my way to becoming an awesome culinary being. =) haha..
