we're headed up to lovely Door County this suday to check out a couple venues... Alpine and Maxwelton-Braes.. both golf courses and all that.. but beautiful grounds. the sites don't do much justice picturewise..

http://www.maxwelton-braes.com/receptions.asp (i think you should be able to figure out which is which) after that- it's on to invitations.. and a lot of e-mails so we can get everyone's real mail addresses.. be on the look out =) we're also going to be contacting a DJ next week- if you have any songs you'd really like to hear played at the big party- put in a request! or even if you know of some really good wedding songs and all that. and oh- i am kinda thinking along the lines of something like this for the wedding cake...
what do you think? different colors and that.. but cupcakes.. with a little cake on top for dan and i to cut into and for the wedding party.. and green as i mentioned in my last post.. i think it is kinda cute.. i just dont know how we'll fit enough cupcakes to feed over 150 people onto a platter... we'll see. gotta find a cake decorator soon too! and i dont even like cake! but i love cheesecake =)
