Spring is in the Air!

we've had weather here in Wisconsin just over 35 degrees for the past couple days. snow is melting. the air smells more fresh and not so frigid. and guess what else i get to look forward to? up until we leave for glorious weather in Florida, our temperatures according to weather.com look something like this: today..46, tomorrow...42, saturday and sunday... 35, monday...39, tuesday...41, wednesday...37. on the day we leave... 26 =) we wont be missing that i tell ya! now- lets just hope those temperatures stay put and dont change over the next few days. but i dont think i'll wear my winter jacket until April.. if needed then.
i've been tanning again- havent really burned all too bad. not enough to keep me from going daily. and i should be able to tan for free. of all the months i was on the unlimited plan- but didnt actually go tanning, i spent a ton of money! finally i cancelled my monthly billing, but now when i go in, i have to pay for minutes- which cost a fortune! they should just allow me to go for free for a few days. i was a good paying customer.
i buy Cosmopolitan magazine every month. which is dumb- because i can just order it through the mail and save a ton of money.. maybe i'll do that today. but this month had an article titled "Juicy Stuff the 'Other Woman' Knows" and all of these 'other women' write in to tell about the guys they are sleeping with. almost all of them say something along the lines of "his girlfriend is constantly calling him to check up on him. he's cheating on her because she is so jealous.. blah blah blah." and that really pissed me off because of course someone would constatly call HER man to check up on him. he is cheating.. remember? and in next months issue where the readers write in to comment on articles of the past months magazine.. Laura White from Oxford, Mississippi writes in to say "I have to disagree with 'How to Land a Second Date.' In the article, it said you could call him after the first date to help figure out if he's interested. My guy friends say that if they like a girl, they'll call. A guy stays interested in a woman if he thinks her life is so busy that she'd never wait by the phone to hear from him. Calling him first jsut takes away the chase." uh- hello? isnt that the point of reading cosmo you dummy? being a cosmo girl? ya with me? no- oh then shield your eyes away from any articles that have the word sex in it, Laura. you're annoying. and so is cosmo lately.. putting people on the cover like Hayden Panettiere.. she is barely 18- what could any fun fearless female possibly learn from her? and putting Zac Effron as one of the top hottest males of 2008... who thinks this? 12 year olds who are in love with that musical thing? yeah- that's what i though.. put him in the CosmoGIRL magazine.. that's what it is for. i'm onto you Cosmo.. and i dont like it.
dan and i got into an argument last night.. we were out at a bar and heard a song.. "oh- that is the song from that 80's movie where the guy stands outside his girl's bedroom window and plays the song on a boombox he holds over his head" dan knows what i am saying "the one with John Cusack" yeah.. but we cant remember the title of the movie. dan is obsessed with remembering the title.. thinking there is a 'J' in it.. or it starts with a 'No'.. and he swears that i own it. i told him over and over and over that i do not own it.. anyways- we get home.. the first thing he does. grabs the movie. haha.. you're right babe. and that will happen all too seldom.
