so, dan and i are all moved into the new place.. and we've been tirelessly working on unpacking all our junk. i never knew we had so much.. we got the largest u-haul possible.. and were barely able to fit everything in for one trip. granted- we prolly coulda stacked things in it much better.. but you know. higgins helped us out big time moving our stuff in here. if it werent for him- our piano would still be sitting on the front 5 steps to get into the house... snow covered and all. but- its all in. we picked up a pretty decent futon for the computer room here... a computer desk and bookshelf and file cabinet from dan's dad and stepmom.. (thanks guys! looks great!) and a couple end tables and a coffee table from sloane's for pretty cheap. we're gonna wait a couple months with an empty dining room.. but thanks to dan's mom and step dad, we'll have a pretty large table. we also have to wait a couple months for the snow to go away so we can pull a truck up to the basement door of my mom's so we can get that hide-a-bed couch outta there. we'll have a pretty full living room. we're still trying to figure out where to put everything.. figure out little odds and ends we'll need to get from walmart and all that (we dont have a silverware container for the drawer.. etc) check updates on dan's blog more often than mine.. he puts up pictures and soon video (we found our long lost plug in cord for our camcorder) and he also has some pretty cool polls... check it out..
and for bad news... Favre just announced his retirement. you know all of wisconsin.. and much more out in the nation... millions of people just started drinking their sorrows away.. yeah- we'll be zombies moving around for a few weeks coming up.. then it'll all start again like a recourring nightmare when football season starts back up.. and that number 4 isnt on any of our jerseys. bummer. take a minute of silence... cry a little.. if you need a shoulder.. you can always come over here! (and help us move things around while you're at it

I cried a little that morning Brett Favre announced he was retiring... I'm a loser, I know. And I don't even really like football.. just the Packers. And Brett.. :(
